1. Source of material

GeoNarativ publishes prepared public explainers based on official United Nations Security Council meeting records, resolutions, and related documents retrieved via the United Nations Digital Library (UDL).

1. Transformation & presentation

The original PDFs are not available on or served from geonarativ.info. GeoNarativ presents summaries, structured explanations, statistics, and source links. Hyperlinks let users download or consult the authoritative text directly from the UDL or other official UN sources where available.

1. No United Nations affiliation

GeoNarativ is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of the United Nations or any of its organs. Reference to UN documents (or outbound links) does not imply UN approval.

1. Copyright & permitted use of UN materials

• The United Nations grants visitors permission to "download and copy" its materials for personal, non-commercial use, provided that copyright notices are retained.
• Any further reproduction, commercial exploitation, bulk extraction or database-level reuse requires prior written permission from United Nations Publications (via the Copyright Clearance Center or directly).
• GeoNarativ's summaries and explanatory content are released under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 License unless otherwise stated; this licence does not extend to the underlying UN documents.

1. Automated-access compliance

The Dag Hammarskjold Library prohibits scraping or bulk downloading without approval. GeoNarativ does not provide a bulk download interface for UN material and expects users to consult official UN sources directly for authoritative records.

1. Accuracy & completeness

GeoNarativ content is intended as a public explainer and may contain omissions, simplifications, delays, or errors. For authoritative, complete, and up-to-date information, always consult the original UN documents.

1. No warranties / limitation of liability

Consistent with UN disclaimers, all content on geonarativ.info is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty of accuracy, reliability, fitness for purpose or non-infringement. GeoNarativ accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the information provided.

1. Trademarks & emblems

The United Nations name, emblem and related marks are protected. GeoNarativ uses them only as textual references; no licence to use UN trademarks is granted or implied.

Links to third-party sites (including the UDL) are provided for convenience. GeoNarativ has no control over - and assumes no responsibility for - the content, security or availability of those sites.
